Had a great experience with gear box service and clutch pack replacement from Gian and the team with my VW.Team was able to assess the car within an hour and took less than 4 hours to do a complete clutch pack change.Highly recommend their services!

I can't speak highly enough of Gian and the team at CATS.I've got a Mk6 Golf that was having issues with the mechatronics.Dropped the car off at 8am, the repair was complete by 3.30 that day AND they were over $1000 cheaper than what VW had quoted me. Generous warranty too.Great to deal with such a professional team - thanks guys

You need transmission work done, you get it done once and properly.Referred to these champions by my mechanic for my aging Alfa Romeo, which was showing signs that it needed a transmission overhaul. Did my research and found CATS to be a tad more expensive in comparison to the competition, but not by much... In the end, it was 100% worth it for the peace of mind that my car was in good hands.The drive home was great, car completely transformed and runs like a clock. Thank you so much to Gian, James & the team at Central Automatics, will be coming back for anything Automatic Transmission related in the future.

I have been using CATS for the past 13 years. From rebuilding my gearbox, replacing the valve body, servicing on my 1988 Mercedes I have always found the two top cats, Gian and James so professional and knowledgeable. Their workshop is always immaculate and full of prestige cars. When they quote you for any work guaranteed not to leave a fur ball in your mouth. I have no hesitation in recommending them. My aging ML320 was in need of some TLC in the form of a transfer box rebuild, transmission service and whilst they were in the vacinity I had them replace the rear main oil seal.Gian demonstrates a professionalism beyond his years and keeps you well informed with regards to the progress. His accuracy when quoting leaves you with no suprises at the checkout and the car drives like new. Very happy and would highly recommend CATS. My only reccomedation to CATS would be to expand this excelent faultless service to North West Sydney...regardless it was well worth the trip. Thank you

Excellent service at C.A.T.S too my old 66 impala and they replaced the pump, torque converter and even a warped pan.Had a little drip after the work took it back and they worked on it free of charge and honoured their warranty no questions asked.Very hard to find service like this these days.They are fantastic only place i would take my car.

I called 5 shops, and chose CATS because of their ability to answer my questions rapidly and accurately, a commitment to have the work performed to a fairly tight deadline, and an agreed upon price.Certainly there are other venues to have this work undertaken, however one look around the gigantic factory floor, and noticing it to be absolutely spotless, should give you a big clue that these chaps are experts.The finished product is silky smooth, and drives, date I say it, better than new, and this at 230,000KMs!Bravo CATS.

Just picked up my Volvo XC60 today which had a transmission issue. From first entering the workshop (which is immaculate) to payment, the process has been smooth and stress free. The team always gave us a smile when we walked in and Gian is absolutely lovely, friendly and very helpful! My 7 yr old daughter even thinks Gian is helpful 🙂 Always happy to help and polite. I have had three months of hell with another gearbox company before giving my VW Transporter T5 to C.A.T.S. I thought i would save some money but it ended up costing me way more with all the running around.Gian is probably the most professional and patient businessman i have dealt with in Sydney. He was very calm, clear and VERY helpful when it came to dealing with the previous business who worked on my vehicle.My vehicle was sorted out in less than a week and it would have been even faster had we not had to wait for my parts from the previous business.My advice to anyone who needs work done to their vehicle is rather than just calling for a quote, visit the business premises and it will tell you a lot about who you will be dealing with.A HUGE thank you to all you guys at C.A.T.S.

From start to finish CATS were great. Gian kept me updated daily and talked through the works required. A few days later they had fixed the gearbox issues with my Suzuki Jimny. It drives like new again. CATS were recommended by my usual local mechanic for transmission work, and I would have no problem recommending them to anyone else.

My Merc. developed an annoying transmission noise.After checking online I found CATS.I called and Gian was really friendly and helpful.Then I went to the workshop and Gian drove my car and gave me an assessment.The workshop is well run and immaculate. Gian explained exactly what was needed to sort my car out.He gave a good estimate of the cost too.I immediately felt confident that I was in good hands. I booked the car in and work began immediately to fix the transmission.The car was ready in only 3 days with a fully rebuilt transmission and a 2 year warranty. It now drives perfectly.
